Aberdeen Counselling Practice is a centrally-located private practice offering a team of experienced and qualified male and female counsellors who are all BACP or COSCA registered.
Aberdeen Counselling Practice is committed to all areas of equality and diversity and can provide counselling to clients regardless of gender, age, ethnicity, religion or sexual orientation.

Aberdeen Counselling Practice provides private counselling for employees who may be experiencing difficulties in their lives which could be affecting their ability or their well-being at work. Aberdeen Counselling Practice works with companies and organisations from any industry or employment sector regardless of size. We aim to arrange the counselling provision to best address the needs of both the employer and the employee which would be mutually agreed in advance.

Our service is designed to respond to needs as and when they arise, be it on a one-off or ad hoc basis, for a set number of sessions or indeed provision of longer term counselling, if required. There is no need for an employer to commit to an Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) but simply to enable the counselling support to be made available to the member of staff at that time.

The benefits of counselling from an employer's perspective include:

It is a demonstration of commitment to employee wellbeing - perhaps the only support available to that person
It offers potential for an enhanced working environment, improved staff moral and motivation
A potential reduction in lost working days and possibly accidents
Enhanced staff retention and reduction in the costs of recruitment and training
Cost savings through reduced absenteeism
Enhanced productivity and efficiency
A helpful tool as part of the risk management policy and stress-related litigation
